We started our Charity Ball in 2010 for my 40th Birthday, when one of our friend's husbands felt poorly. Sadly they discovered that he had a Brain Tumour, David asked the doctors and surgeons treating him which Brain Tumour charity to support... BTRC... Amazing Charity. Sadly since then we have learnt about many people that have this terrible disease, and though it kills more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, it gets just 1% of the National cancer spend on cancer research.

AYLESFORD UNIT, Warwick Hospital:

When my Beautiful Dad discovered he had Stomach Cancer our world changed, losing the Best Man in our lives was the end of our real world. The Ball then became 'My Dad's Do' in his name and because he was always my best advertiser and helper for the night. The Aylesford Unit looked after Dad so amazingly, Dad hated hospital but loved the team on the Cancer Ward, a new family we didn't really ever want, but we're were so grateful for.

'JACKIE COLIZZI' (WAS CHINN):

My Best Friend from High school, a gorgeous person in and out, was knocked over walking home from work, on 9th November 2015. My amazingly strong friend is still recuperating in hospital. Jackie is improving everyday, and she amazes us time and time again. Just recently she has really come on.

It is 26 months since her accident and she is desperate to get home. We are hoping that this year is the year that Jackie gets there. Jackie’s monies will be used in the best way possible to help her at home to recuperate.
