Story
Loch Fyne Pipe Band is a new venture and has been created as a community oriented, non competing band based in Tarbert.
The band came about when musicians from across Argyll came together to play at Lochgilphead Armed Forces Day when the organisers were unable to secure the services of other bands.
As a direct result, those performers enjoyed playing together and decided to create this new band.
It will take significant effort and money to purchase uniforms and equipment (members are currently playing in their own kilts).
We are therefore hoping that we can mobilise public support in helping get Loch Fyne Pipe Band kitted out so we can give even more back in local appearances throughout out Argyll but particularly around the immediate Tarbert area.
Thank you for taking time to read our story and hopefully choosing to donate whatever you can afford to support us in our enterprise.

I retired from pipe bands in January 2016, but when the Lochgilphead Armed Forces Day were unable to engage a pipe band to lead their parade, I worked with some friends to put something together to help. As a direct result we decided to stay together as a community band.
