Story
Mick sadly passed away in 2014 leaving behind his wife, Laura, and two beautiful daughters. Mick was an incredible husband, father, soldier and a friend to everyone who knew him.
On Friday 2nd December 2016 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery will be hosting the second Lockwood Trophy. The event will be an 8km rural obstacle course, with each competitor carrying 12kg of kit. It will be a fun and challenging (and probably very wet and cold) event and a fitting way of remembering Mick.
The event isn’t only about remembering though, we are also trying to raise as much money as possible for the Lockwood trust fund, set up to help ensure that Mick and Laura’s children have the best possible future, so every competitor will be making a donation to the trust.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible for everyone that wants to help to compete in the event, but you can still contribute. You can support Laura and the kids by making a donation to the Lockwood trust via this page. Mick meant so much to so many of us I am sure we can smash the target.
Thank you.
