Sooo...my final update! (Hurrah, I hear you say!) I l am very proud to say I finished my first tri! After a very wobbly start in the pool (I nearly quit 4 lengths in), I had a good chat to myself and pushed on. I'm so happy that I did! Physically and emotionally challenging but I would recommend it to anyone who's up for a challenged. Wonderful support and atmosphere from my fellow racers and my wonderful friends and family who came to watch. Needless to say, I cried at the end! Sooooo... london tri next.... who's up for it?! Blimey! There's some love going on here! Thank you all so much (to the anons too!) for the donations... I didn't think I'd raise this much; its very overwhelming. A quick update... I picked up an injury just over a week ago which is lovely, all from trying to change my run from "running like a girl" to something a bit more productive. It's quite painful taking the stairs but oddly enough doesn't seem to hurt when running/cycling/swimming so onwards and upwards! If you see me hobbling around, you know why! Have a lovely week all xx
