Story
At the end of November 2023, our beautiful, highly intelligent and loving boy Leo, took his own life. He was 16 years old and autistic. To prevent other families from going through the heartache of losing a child to suicide, we have set up a community charity called 'Leo's Safe Haven' providing a safe haven for neurodivergent young people, whether that be in the community, in schools, at home or in a pyschiatric setting. We have collaborated with the charity 'Autistica' and all funds raised will go towards projects that help young people and families, especially in times of crisis. Being autistic is not a negative its a gift, and so much more needs to be done to address the stigma and help the neurodivergent community feel fully accepted and supported. We appreciate every donation, however small.
Little changes make a huge difference!
