In May I made a decision that I was having my last hair cut for a while, I will be Donating around 10inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust, who provide wigs for boys and girls across the UK, who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

My hair is something I often get complimented on, as it is so long, and possibly because I have never had it Short! I am asking that you dig as deep as you can and sponsor the 'Chop'. Which brings me on to the fundraising part of my mission.

I came across Raymond Gibbs, through a friend, Ray is having a pretty crappy time and after reading all the lovely comments about him, I knew that I wanted to help if I could. Please help me, help Ray and his family, so they can focus on the good things and not having to worry about money at such a tough time, with Christmas around the corner let's make it as special as we can.

I asked Hugh, one of Ray's best friend, if he would add something, as it seemed only right coming from someone who knows and loves him:

''Ray had skin cancer in the early 90's. Secondary cancer hit 3 years ago with tumours in both his stomach and brain. He was given a treatment from which he had outlived anyone's expectations they only gave him months. A few weeks ago this stopped working and he is about to start immunotherapy treatment. We want to make Ray’s life financially stable. Ray is a loving husband, father and not long been a grandfather (To Layla & Arabella)
He is now in hospital because there's something wrong with his leg, and when I visited last, Layla wouldn't leave him alone giving him star stickers for getting his maths correct.This is something close to my heart Lucy as I've had cancer myself twice, the last time if I wasn't cured my youngest, wouldn't have even known me, she is now 23.”
