Story

Lurgan Town Football Club are raising money by having competitors run/walk a marathon (26.2 miles) in the month of June. The NHS and CLIC Sergeant are the two organisations we have chosen to donate the money raised to. Each competitor has paid £10 to take part, and this page will be used for any additional money raised. Good luck to all those taking part, and thank you to everyone that has contributed so far.

Congratulations to our own player Alan Stokes, and his friends Sophie Swindell and Ryan Reavie who completed a marathon on Saturday 6th June in just over 8 hours in terribly wet and windy conditions. Thank you all for really driving home and encouraging friends and family to donate, and in turn raising over £500 in the process. Superb!
