Lymm Radio is here to stay! We are now officially registered as a not-for-profit social enterprise and are in the process of building our studio facility at 15b The Cross in Lymm village centre.

As we progress, Lymm Radio will aim to entertain, inform and enrich our listeners through an eclectic mix of music, cultural, educational and community interest programmes and services.

When we are up and running, local schools - the police and fire service will all have easy access to our facility, allowing them to reach the wider community.

And we want you to be involved too! We'll be actively encouraging our listeners to present programmes and to get involved in programme production. The station will be run by volunteers - but the expectation is that we will be able to create employment opportunities in due course.

Moving forward, we will be funded through a series of grants and from advertising and sponsorship. Paul and Ian are making most of the initial investment to get the project up and running - but we need your help.

If we are to offer our studio as an additional training facility to schools and the general public, regulations dictate that our equipment and installation has to meet certain standards. This does present a financial challenge - and we would therefore be truly grateful for help with this.
