Story

Physical challenges are there for all of us to achieve, whether it's someone who is physically fit attempting a Guinness World Record, or someone with physical limitations going to the gym for the first time. MAD Adventures helps people to understand how much more they can achieve physically and mentally, how that can help improve daily movement, and make some great friends at the same time!!

Amanda is taking on an offical Guinness World Record attempt - rowing 32 indoor marathons on 32 consecutive days - all to raise awareness of the great work MAD Adventures CIC is doing (https://madadventures.org).

This fundraising project will help enable a large group of Gloucestershire residents to have a weekend adventure of a lifetime, a small group of wheelchair users escape to the lakes for an unforgettable day, and an epic adventure for one of the team to raise awareness of the benefits of exercise for young people with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

It will also be an opportunity for everyone to support Amanda’s record attempt by doing something a little outside of their normal… row, cycle, walk, run, burpee even, or just sit and drink tea for support, it all helps with this incredible effort!
