£7,500raised of £10,000 target by 70 supporters

Weʼve raised £7,500 to create empowering experiences for profoundly disabled children. To give families the tools to learn unconventional means of communication

    Kent, England
Funded on Sunday, 15th January 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Two people that transformed Margot’s life were Jeremy Harrison (a lead practitioner in multi-sensory communication for disabled children inspired by Margot) and Kelly O Leary (West End singer and founder of Jump). The dedication they showed in developing ways to communicate with Margot was extraordinary and she could recognise Kelly’s voice wherever she was. Kelly and Jeremy have agreed to help us start a charity in order to help as many disabled children as possible to receive multi-sensory experiences. Our aim is to provide a charity that would allow Jeremy and ourselves to help parents, siblings, carers, friends and adults to develop communication skills with their disabled children through drama, music and senses. This would allow families and carers to forge stronger relationships and by providing them with the training it would be with them forever rather than relying on outside agencies and supporting services.

Margot was our eldest daughter who died in December 2015 having suffered from profound disabilities all of her life. She was the most extraordinary little girl and this charity is the legacy she will leave behind, ensuring all children have communication with the outside world
