Hey, this is one of the hardest things I've ever done. My name is Mark, some years ago I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease. This was on top of my other extensive health issues. This was monitored and treated by the team at Gartnaval hospital sadly at the start of the year an emergency appointment discovered my liver condition turn to decomposit and my abdomen started to fill with ascites fluid. Thus putting extreme pain and pressure on all my other organs, through tests it showed I have cirrhosis and it had spread to other organs, I spent a month (since then a further 3 months) in 8c of the Queen Elizabeth hospital Glasgow. Where I went through many scans and a drain fitted to drain my stomach, these were temporary drains and they were removed after the fluid was drained, over the coming weeks my condition was going down hill, and the hospital contacted Edinburgh transplant unit at Eri hospital. Sadly they soon came back declining my chance due to my other health issues, since this I've had multiple surgeries to fit long term drains in (some got infected and had to be changed) after catching multiple infections my body started to fail. My kidneys are struggling and my potassium /bp levels have shot up to 7 and above. This started having an effect on my heart, I was blasted with many drugs and antibiotics and invusions to keep me alive. These drugs had a knock on affect with my body, teeth have started to be damaged (and need removed) as my gums shrink and I'm needing surgery to fix at the maxflax team in the Queen Elizabeth hospital Glasgow. Ive since been put on end of life palliative care and my worlds slowly collapsing. I asking for help to be seen again to get a second Private Doctor who can review my case notes to see if I can beat this and get tests for a transplant
