Story

Markaz Ibraheem Manchester is much more than just a mosque. It serves as a community hub bringing together people from all races and backgrounds into a safe, spiritual and enlightening environment to practice their faith freely and offer congregational prayer. We provide a space where Brothers can learn the Deen and better themselves, ultimately bettering their families and communities.

Due to Masjid closure we have been unable to pay the rent and utility bills over the past 4 months. We are in need of urgent funds to cover the cost of the rent for the past few months and also the upcoming months. We must also cover the year cost of water, gas and electricity bills.

This is a first step in making our mosque debt free. Our 3 Phase project includes:

• Phase 1: Paying of the Debt of the Masjid accumulated from outstanding bills and rent.

• Phase 2: Rebuilding the Wudu and toilet facilities. The Masjid Wudu and toilet facilities are not fit for purpose and we need to urgently renovate this.

• Phase 3: Build a second floor to accommodate an extra 150 people to meet the increased demand.

We urge you Brothers and Sisters to help us to develop our masjid so that we can benefit the community for many more years to come. These donations will allow us to continue our vital work and help this masjid build foundations for years to come.

In a world of great temptation it is vital we are able to teach our youth the ways of their beautiful religion so they make the right decisions later in life and become good moral citizens in society.

We hope you will get involved to help us make this masjid debt free, renovate and expand our masjid so we can serve more people. Remember that the holy prophet (peace be upon him) informed us that if we build a house of Allah in this world, in the next world we will have a place in paradise, SubhanAllah!

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a Masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise. Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 439,

Furthermore, the building of a mosque and the teaching of beneficial knowledge to the community, is a form of ceaseless charity called Sadaqah Jariyah where the rewards will continue forever even after you have passed! For every good that comes from the Masjid and all the valuable knowledge passed on our children which they act upon, you will receive the reward for it, Alhamdulillah
