Story

Me and my husband Matt are raising money for walk for wards, specifically Radnor ward ICU.

In November Matt suddenly contracted severe bronchitis and spent 2 weeks in ICU.

The love and support from the Radnor ward staff was incredible, from doctors and consultants answering all my questions, to the simplest kindness from the receptionist getting me a chair. A nurse got me some food vouchers and sent me to eat and sleep, with a parking permit so I didn't need to worry every day. They were incredibly kind to Matt, supporting him through all anxieties and keeping him company in long nights.

I will forever be grateful to Radnor ward and the staff, for saving my husband's life and being so genuinely wonderfully supportive. The least we can do is try and raise some money for a much needed cause!

This hospital has fixed my son's broken arm, helped me give birth to my daughter during COVID and saved my husband's life. All I can say is thankyou to the fabulous NHS.
