I'm Cllr Cronnelly the Mayor of Weston-super-Mare and my charity for the year is the fantastic Weston-super-Mare Foodbank who continue to rise to the challenge of the cost of living crisis and support thousands of residents with food parcels.

However, the cost of living crisis means they are seeing demand for their services increase with more and more people seeking help.

My goal during my term is to raise as much money for Weston foodbank as possible and I need your help. To raise money and awareness for the foodbank I'll be running a marathon around Weston-super-Mare on 2nd March 2024 - yes you read that right, the Mayor of Weston-super-Mare is running a marathon around the streets of Weston.

This is going to be a massive personal challenge but every £1 raised for the foodbank will make a massive difference and all money raised will go to them directly!
