Would you like to take in the stunning views and surroundings of the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) whilst meeting new faces and having a natter?

Why not join the Mayoress in her Social Wellbeing Sponsored Walk to raise funds for groups in Barnsley, more details can be found following this link to the Mayors info page:

Meeting at Silkstone Common Railway station at 10am, the group will make the short walk to the TPT at Silkstone Common heading in the direction of Worsbrough and will finish with a lap of Worsbrough Reservoir, covering a total of 9.4 km.

The route is relatively flat and adults of all ages and abilities are welcome - it won’t be a race and more of a gentle stroll and natter.
