Alhamdulillah we have reached our initial target of £50,000 for phase one. We are now launching an appeal for £100,000 for phase two of the masjid project.

Medina Mosque Stoke (Registered Charity Number: 1192457) is located on 267 Waterloo Road, Stoke-on-Trent. In recent years, Medina Mosque Stoke has purchased a former church building (located on Grange Street) and converted it to a masjid, Alhamdulillah.

The masjid is undergoing major works that involves the following;- New front entrance - Full roofing including materials and scaffolding - Wudhu area/toilets (WC toilet)- Replacement of windows- Fire exits- New doors/frames throughout- Rewiring - Full plumbing & heating throughout - Construction of new walls and access points- Carpets, lighting, fixtures/fittings and much more!

On behalf of Medina Mosque Stoke, an URGENT appeal is now being made to you and all Muslim brothers & sisters that you know, to help reach the target amount and beyond, Insha’Allah. Please help donate your generous share to this amazing project and invest in your akhirah. Through YOUR donations, whatever acts of worship (ibadah) are completed in the masjid, Insha’Allah you will continue to receive the rewards even after leaving this temporary world (Sadaqah Jaariyah).

Allah swt says: “Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return.” [Surah al-Baqarah: 245]

We know of the famous Hadith in which the prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Muslim)
