Over the past 15 years or so you have all been incredible in helping us raise thousands of pounds for so many charitys, but we are asking for your help one last time please.

It is coming up to 2 years since we lost Skye and this year she should have been turning 16, We have been thinking for a while now of ways to do something special and have decided we would like to get a bench built by Genesis ipswich.

Genesis Orwell Mencap is a local charity that provides adult learning disability services. From our Genesis centre in Ipswich, we offer day care for adults with special needs, complex disabilities and profound and multiple learning disabilities. All construction of garden furniture is carried out by adults with disabilities.

The bench would then be placed at Needham lake in Skye’s memory. We go for a walk there everyday and we know a lot of people who knew Skye also visit there, so thought we could get a bench where we can all sit and think/talk about her.

We didn’t quite realise just how expensive it was, so we are kindly asking for people to help us raise funds please. I know times are tough right now so any donation (even the smallest) is very much appreciated.

We have found a bench we love but obviously if we cannot raise that amount we will look into other options, and any money left over we will donate to Rett Uk. A charity that were very much involved throughout Skye’s life.
