Story
As MerseaToJersey we are wanting to raise a little bit of money to support some of Ynys Mon's young sports men and women. The 2017 edition of the Island Games will be held in the Swedish island of Gotland and each individual has to raise around £1,000 to cover the costs of flights and accommodation. We don't want finance to be a barrier to anyone representing their island. On the weekend of 13th-14th May the four us are travelling to Anglesey for the a weekend of sport. As part of that there will be a TWELVE hour football match between the athletics team and the women's football team. This is a big ask for those competing. The four of us will be there for the whole event, perhaps even having a little cameo on pitch. We're passionate about Ynys Mon and fell in love with our adopted island back in 2015 in Jersey. We want to give something back. If you enjoy what we do through our blog and antics at the Island Games then please consider donating. Us four won't take a penny from this, we're paying our own way. This is to support Ynys Mon young competitors. Once the money is raised we shall decide who to give the money to. Thank you in advance!
