Mersey Juniors FC (MJFC) is a junior grassroots football club that was established in 2014 and affiliated to Liverpool County FA (LCFA). Check us out at www.merseyjuniorsfc.co.uk

At MJFC our ethos is simple- we just want to help as many young people in the community as possible. Not just as footballers but more importantly, as individuals. We ensure that we do this in a fun and inclusive environment with no pressure at all placed upon results.

We also pride ourselves on being one of the most inclusive junior clubs in the country.

This is based on two things. Firstly, we have no selection criteria. If a child wishes to play football, then they can at MJFC. Mini Messi’s are welcome, so too are those who may have not kicked a ball before.

Secondly, we do everything FREE of charge. At MJFC there are NO weekly subs, signing on fees, kit fees etc to pay. It is all financed via our own fund-raising activities and grant applications.

We do this as we firmly believe that as soon as you place a financial obligation onto a player then you are instantly excluding some, those that simply cannot afford to pay it.

As the club is continually expanding so too are the costs!! In order for us to finance the 2024/25 season for the children we are doing the 3 peaks challenge on April 9th 2024.

Should we be fortunate enough to meet our target, then we will be donating the excess equally between the 3 organisations that we officially support.
