Thanks to everyone for donating to help Michael. We remain overwhelmed by your generosity. Thankfully Michael is making progress and everyday we see an improvement. Can't wait for the day that I post pictures of Michael walking out of the hospital... i truely believe it will happen. Michael remains in good form. He has tried standing again but it makes him feel dizzy and sick. He had the staples removed from his skin grafts and they will be assessed again tomorrow. Once the burns Unit are happy with him, he can then be transferred to Musgrave. We pray that he will be well enough to come home for a while on Christmas Day, but it's a very slim chance. Thanks for all your prayers and support... we feel extremely blessed. Keep praying that he has no more setbacks and has the strength to make a full recovery. 🙏🏻💜

Hi everyone. Michael is definitely on the road to recovery. He is in a lot of pain but all his stats are good and he is chatting away without any confusion. Today he is having skin grafts on his left arm, his other burns are healing well. His MRI of his brain showed no sign of injury and his lastest CT scan on his neck are all good. They have had him on his feet and sitting out on a wheel chair but he was not able to stick the pain very long. It's going to be a tough journey for him. Thanks again for all the support, we are so grateful 🙏🏻

Michael has a bad day yesterday. He is on seriously strong meds which left him quite unresponsive. They have reduced some of his painkillers and changed his antibiotic. Since then he is in more pain but at least he can communicate. Today he was more stable but in a lot of pain. It's such a slow process but we are grateful that he is alive and God willing he will make a full recovery. Stay strong Michael and we will get you through this.
