Story
Mikey’s World
Welcome to Mikey’s World JustGiving page, and thank you for taking an interest.
Mikey, from Kingswood, Bristol, was just 16 when he was killed in a knife attack at a birthday party in the nearby area of Bath, June 2023.
Mikey’s World has been created by Mikey’s mum, Hayley, to give back to the local community in Mikey’s memory, with a focus on young people.
Hayley is supported by Mikey’s Dad, Spike, her partner, Scott, and a fantastic network of family and friends who know and love Mikey.
Community support will be provided through encouraging youngsters to get off the streets and into boxing or music studios #streetstoboxnbeats 🥊🎵 whilst also raising awareness of methods and kits to help save lives from knife injuries. Continuing additional support, activities and awareness will be introduced as our journey continues.
The first fundraiser in July 2023, a 5-a-side tournament with family attractions, was such a success and a great day for Mikey’s family and friends to be a part of. The proceeds of the previous fundraising, which was arranged by good friends on behalf of the families, went towards Mikeys funeral and to support the families. Mikey had such a beautiful send-off and the support to the families relieved the financial stresses that sudden life changing events like this can cause.
This JustGiving page has been set up as a completely separate cause and all proceeds raised under Mikey’s World will only be put to good causes.
We hope that the 5-a-side funday will become an annual event under Mikey’s World, and the same for an upcoming golf day.
A sponsored walk is taking place 26th Aug 2023 and more events will be added along the way.

Thank you so much for everyone’s continued support, it means the world… Mikey’s World 🌏 Love, Hayley, Spike, Scott, families and friends xxx

My beautiful boy was taken from us in June 2023. My goal is to try and prevent this from happening to other families. I would love to hear from you if you have any ideas on how young person crime, especially knife crime, can be prevented. Warmest regards, Hayley and family
