Minsterley Show is raising money to help send more trucks to Ukraine as part of the Pickups for Peace Initiative.
Minsterley Show President David Evans travelled to Ukraine in May to help deliver the fourth convoy of used pick-up trucks and 4x4s to the worn-torn country.
David donated his old Nissan Navara and drove nearly 1,500 miles across Europe to Lviv as part of a 40-strong convoy that delivered their 100th vehicle to the 24 Brigade.
The 4WD pickups are vital and are being used to deliver aid and supplies to the communities impacted most by the conflict.
David was so moved by the trip that he is determined to raise more money to send more trucks to help the people of Ukraine.
Our initial target is to raise £6,000 which should enable us to send more than one vehicle. This money will cover the purchase of the vehicles, get them road-worthy and fuel them for the trip.
