Story

My aim is to raise funds to help build a Mission

House for a childrens school near Kampala in Uganda. The school has no on site accommodation for Volunteers to stay in. The classroom roofs are leaking, the walls are crumbling & the playground is littered with craters & very unsafe. If there was a Mission House, volunteers & the like would be able to stay for periods of time & help with the desperately needed repairs. The income from this would then help to maintain it & create a job for someone there to help with the upkeep, not to mention work for local contractors on the actual build.

A Mission House would transform the childrens lives, greatly helping the likes of ‘Jovan’ who is the little boy in the picture. I met Jovan last year on my visit to help with building works in another of the schools. Jovan is unfortunately non verbal but has the most beautiful, happy smile, that speaks a thousand words.

I hope you can help in any way & we can build this Mission House & keep Jovan smiling🫶

My first project was to organise a Fundraising Ball. I have managed to get together over 200 guests for this & it will be held on Saturday June 1st at the Grand Hotel, Gosforth Park. One of many events I am hoping will help towards this fabulous cause. There is still time to get tickets for this event, please message me on this page if you’re interested, its going to be a fantastic evening.

Also, As part of my fundraising, I will be walking the Hadrians Wall Coast to Coast path, starting on Thursday May 2nd and hopefully completing it in 5 days🏃🏻

Any support for this would be much appreciated
