I want to create some lasting memories with my three children, Callum, Jack and Maycee who are very poorly.

Our lives were turned upside down when we received a diagnosis of NARP Syndrome complex 5 - Mitochondrial Disease following a deterioration in the health of my eldest son Callum

The main symptoms are; Nuerogenic Weakness, Ataxia, Retinisis Pigmentosa, Learning disabilities and developmental delays, dementia. Other features of NARP include seizures, hearing loss, and abnormalities of the electrical signals that control the heartbeat (cardiac conduction defects)

Callum had collapsed during a shopping trip and his legs just stopped working, myself and his dad rushed him to the accident and emergency where he underwent a series of tests. We were beside ourselves with worry. it took 8 long months to find out what was wrong with my boy and it was such a hard thing to come to terms with.

There is no cure, no hope, just despair.

I was told the likelihood of my other two children having this would be low but devastatingly, they received the same diagnosis after genetic testing.

All three of my children suffer in different ways, they all rely on their wheelchairs and all suffer from lack of energy which often makes them bed bound.

We have been to see a specialist at Newcastle who have told us that the only thing we can do now is create memories.

As their mum I want to provide them with amazing memories and make some of their dreams come true whilst they are still able.
We are taking them to Disney in Florida but would really like to raise money for them to see and do things while they are there and make it as magical as possible.

Following this there are some other dreams to fulfill
Jacks dream is to ride in a sports car and meet the creators of GTA
Callum's dream is to meet the Liverpool FC Players.
Maycee's dream is to meet Sam and Cat off Nickelodeon.

I want to see their faces light up, they deserve to smile.
