It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that I write this article, to inform all of our colleagues of the passing away of Mohammad Miah - our fellow colleague and human being. Mo finally succumbed to his illness in the late afternoon on Thursday 22nd September 2016.
 
Mo had been fighting cancer for some time and had in fact already beat it once, but I am afraid that on re-occurrence he finally succumbed at the young age of 30.
 
Mo leaves behind a wife and a young child, a little boy of five years old. No doubt Mo being the kind and caring person that he was will be watching over them from Zennet (Heaven).
 
Mo was a very dedicated and hardworking person who never once complained about his illness, in fact Mo tried as hard as he could to carry on working showing an amazing amount of commitment and support to his colleagues and the contract.
 
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of his work friends and the Property Management team at 1&2 Broadgate who have been so supportive while Mo was fighting his illness. A very special thank you to Front of House Officer Camilo Pelaez for all of the support he gave to Mo throughout his battle.
 
For those of you who had the privilege of knowing or working with Mo, I’m sure you will agree he made our lives richer for knowing him.
