    Story

Lara is 15, at 12 months old she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, it was awful but we knew, from then on started the apointments at hospital and Physio every week.

by the age of 3 she was provided with splints, a wheelchair, standing frame (which she still hates) and k walker, lara was horrified using walker, but someone encouraged her to use it and she eventually she took a few steps with it, we were so proud.
At the Age 4 we took lara to stick n step conductive education where she went from falling when sitting on a chair to walking holding ropes.

In her 15 years she had been casted twice, 8 hr bone surgery to straighten legs and hips, 2 years of Botox & Fenol, 2 years ago muscle and bone surgery to lengthen tendons to relieve stiffness, and a wedge of bone taken from femur and put in foot and pinned, The Operations were successful and made her lovely and straight, but the recovery was horrendous,

Even tho she has constant physio, hydro 2x a week, sns 2x a week and facia massages, it's still difficult to try and keep her from becoming bent and were constantly telling her to get leg straight, and stop bending forward.

Then a few months ago she was asked to trial a Molli suit, which send electrode stimulants to relax the stiff muscle which ables the opposit weak muscle to have have more use. When she tried it she was amazed, she said "I feel different, I didn't realise I always felt stiff aching and had pain, until I had this on and now I don't, I feel great", after an hour she walked using her frame, I couldn't believe the difference in her walking, her steps bigger, straighter getting heals down, her arms she could put up by her head where she can't normally, and she could turn hands over, that's just after 1 hr. I could have cried, They said three times a week you will see a major difference, I was just glad she was pain and stiffness free, lara said "I would love one, and only thing I've ever tried I like and works.😊
