As some of you may know in July 2017 I will be joining a few selected individuals from St Mary’s Catholic Academy to go on an once in a lifetime trip to Nepal to help in a community teaching project at Shubhakamana school in Kathmandu. Within this project, I will be able to meet local children and work side by side in a project that will affect the future of their lives. From this amazing trip, I will be able to access geographical, historical and religious information from the hands- on experience as well as train beforehand to be able to teach English to speakers of a foreign language. Additionally, I will have the opportunity to explore Kathmandu and its colourful bazaars, street life and many temples as well as taking a visit to Chitwan National Park where we will be able to track Rhino, ride elephants and possibly catch a glimpse of a tiger!
