Story

Mount Tamar is a fantastic primary and secondary school based in St Budeaux, Plymouth. They help children who have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) supporting those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and/or an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

They support children from Year 3 to Year 11 to provide specialist support alongside a broad, balanced curriculum.

They lost 80% of their books form a roof leak and are now looking to relaunch their library as a place for the children to access on their own choosing supporting their independence and learning at the same time.

I am fundraising to provide brand new books for the school ranging from fiction and non fiction books for all years at the school to cover different topics and themes for each student to read and find their perfect book to engage and excite in reading.

All funds raised will be going to the school PLUS my partnership with Usborne means that we will also be topping up the funds with an additional % for even more free books.
If we can raise over £600 the school will get an additional 60% on top for more free books to help and support the students.

Thank you for reading and if you know of any businesses that would also like to contribute and be recognised on the newsletter and social media posts please contact me at

The children at the school would love to also send you a thank you message too.

Thank you 📚
