After recently losing my nana at the age of 94, this story has really tugged on my heart strings. But I'm sure, regardless of your situation, this will tug at yours too.

Mr Cole, aged 91 has had his life savings stolen by a carer. (This can be read online or in the Advertiser) He lived alone and has no family or friends. The carer, who has only been given 240 community hours and ordered to pay back £500 of the £8000 she stole has left Mr Cole with only £2.05 in his account. Because of this, he could not afford to live and was forced to move into a care home. Since moving there, he now has onset dementia. Mr Cole does not have any money for any future needs.

I am in contact with the Rotherham Advertiser who are going to be following my fund raising and also South Yorkshire Police who are going to help with publicising it too.

I am going to be doing a raffle where people can buy tickets from me or online and pay the money Via Just Giving. I will also be asking for cash donations via the Just Giving page as well as arranging other things in the.community. Once arranged these will be posted here.
We have already had companies donate prizes, once we have had more replies i will start the raffle, so for now, I am asking if anyone is kind enough to make a cash donation. Every penny will help Mr.Cole.
