Music has the power to instantly transport us to a different time, place or emotion. We all have a favourite song that makes us smile no matter what, or that never fails to bring a tear to your eye.

For people living with dementia, music can help bring to mind long forgotten memories, soothe the agitation that often accompanies the disease and enhance the quality of life of patients and their families. Music for Memory are raising money to buy music players for patients with dementia. This really is the gift of song!
