Kenya's recent floods have killed hundreds and disproportionately hit residents of informal settlements, who were already in precarious housing. Many residents have lost everything and will struggle to rebuild.

Muungano wa Wanavijiji is a grassroots organisation active across Kenyan informal settlements and is affiliated with Slum Dwellers International (SDI). Currently, Muungano is seeking to support over 62,000 families affected by flooding with vital assistance such as food, bedding, and sanitary items.
