On the 7th June 2023 following a short illness Serena was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. This is a life limiting condition that will be challenging to navigate but, with the help support and love from all their family, friends and colleagues within the LFB, Serena and Carl will not have to do it alone, wont have to worry about the small details and can face the future with optimism. So the B/W of North Kensington have set themselves the challenge of climbing and descending Snowdon 3 times with in a 24 hour period on the 9th October 2023. The money raised will be split between several Cancer charities that have been supporting both Serena and Carl.
