Our Mental Health Peer Support Group, Northern Spirit Berwick, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, try their best to provide the people who attend from all over North Northumberland & The Borders areas, with activities to do and trips out to help them integrate into society. These activities do come at a financial cost and the only way we can continue them is via donations and fund raising exercises like sponsored walks & coffee mornings etc. I have suffered mental health problems myself, and also have experience of looking after someone who has mental health issues. I support the group as a volunteer, both acting as secretary and also arranging & facilitating some of these activities and am now asking my friends, family & strangers alike to help this worthy cause by making a small donation to help us provide some more of these much needed releases from the stresses of daily life that our members face whilst suffering from things like Anxiety problems or Depression!
