Story
Olivia is supporting Nazarene's Principal’s Project after visiting with her mummy and reading their Build a Brick flyer. Each year the Principal selects a project to raise funds for. Something necessary, but additional to their normal budgeted projects. For this coming year they are hoping to build accessible toilets on campus.
Not a romantic project, but the current public toilets with disability access are located at the back of the old White House (the administration building) and in the Emmanuel Centre (the classroom block). Increasingly, students, external community and church users need available toilets.
As a result, toilet block has been planned for, with disabled and family toilets, which will be accessed from the chapel/café area and in the words of the Principal: “We would very much like every person who comes here to be able to use toilet facilities with dignity – and sense that our hospitality extends to the most mundane of things”!
To do this, the current estimate is £15,000. Olivia would like to help in a very small way by challenging herself to climb Mount Snowdon on Saturday 5th November 2016.
