UPDATE: We are raising funds in Natalie’s memory for Farleigh Hospice.

Natalie Howell, my sister is just 34 years old. She is a mother of two, Alyssa and Jaxon. She is living with stage 4 bowel cancer.

Her cancer was first diagnosed in November 2021 at just 31 years old. She had a major operation which took over three gruelling months to heal to remove the affected part of her bowel (sigmoid area). Unfortunately, after mop up chemotherapy, she was given the news that she had stage 4 bowel cancer meaning that it is incurable.

Today we were told that she is on her last chemotherapy route before trials need to be considered. However, following the testing of her tumour she was told it is a "wild" type and that her cancer would respond to Avastin.

Avastin is not available on the NHS for bowel cancer hence why I am fundraising to ensure that we are able to have as much time as possible with Natalie. On average it costs just shy of £1,900.00 per month to have access to Avastin.
