Care Package Project

Inara Project are happy to announce that we are bringing back our successful Care Package project for the 3rd year; this time we'll be collaborating with Nejma Collective to provide luxury care packages to Muslim women in UK prisons.

Surah Yusuf in the Qur'an reminds us that people in prison must not be maligned or ignored, even Allah’s chosen messenger, Prophet Yusuf (AS) was imprisoned on account of unjust circumstances. The interactions he has with other prisoners also remind us that people who experience prison are as valuable and important to society as everybody else. This is why we have chosen to work with Nejma Collective to bring awareness and support to a forgotten group of women.

Each package will contain luxury toiletries, Islamic books, prayer scarves and goodies! We will also be giving you the opportunity to write messages to the recipients in prison of words of hope and support.
