In August 2016 we received the heart breaking news that Nicole had severe heart failure at age 26, recently after giving birth to her baby girl Ebonie. Nicole has three children, Ebonie (7 months), Layla (5 Years old) and Archie (8 Years old).

It came as a complete shock to the whole family and of course to Nicole herself and she no other option other than to have open heart surgery. Due to antibodies in Nicole's body she could not receive a new heart and instead was given an LVAD machine that keeps Nicole alive by keeping her left side of the heart pumping. This machine acts a bridge until Nicole is able to receive a new heart. We had a beautiful Christmas as a family and knew this machine would keep her going until she was put on the transplant list in years to come.

Unfortunately on the 25th January 2017 we received the news that it is unlikely for Nicole to be put on the transplant list and receive a new heart due to the many antibodies in her blood. We still have hope that the antibodies will leave Nicole's body and hopefully in time her body won't reject a heart, however Nicole's right side of her heart is beginning to fail. We have been told Nicole will have a healthy 12 months to create memories with her children and family.

We have set up this page and are asking for you to please donate anything you can so we can all give Nicole and her children the memories they deserve to create. The money donated will be spent ticking off Nicole's bucket list and funeral fees in the sad times ahead of us.
