Nomad Adventure Therapy is a CIC focused on helping veterans regain their confidence and re-enter society through the promotion of outdoor fitness and health activities. Having personally suffered from military related mental health issues, the founders understand that such activities are vital to the recovery process. Nomad takes groups of veterans and introduces them to outdoor fitness activities including running, hill walking, mountain biking and general fitness. The founder, Laurence, is a qualified Personal Trainer and Bush Craft Instructor so uses these skills as well as shared experiences to lead groups into outdoor activities they can then replicate individually. He also promotes healthy eating, a reduction of alcohol consumption and general wellness as complementary elements to enjoying health and fitness activities.
