Please help support some extremely talented young women - The North West Women Warriors boxing team.
This team runs solely on donations and contributions from the girls on the team.
Over the last 2 years, these young women have worked incredibly hard and have been so committed, in giving up their time, attending the female squad training sessions. The result of this effort is that they are now at the stage where they can represent the North West Women Warriors team in competitions and tournaments.
Women’s boxing has become increasingly popular in the last couple of years but it can still be difficult to get matches for all the female team members. Competitions and tournaments will give the team more opportunities to box in a competitive environment, enhance their skills and experience and help them develop not only as athletes but well-rounded young people.
Some of the young ladies were able to represent The North West Women Warriors boxing team at the Eindhoven Cup in May 2016 and the Esker cup in October 2016. They represented the team with great pride and their efforts were rewarded with some fantastic results. You can see these below.
Trips to competitions, organising training sessions and generally keeping the team going is expensive. The team currently pays for all these things and the team members make a contribution.
