I have decided to crowd fund for a defib for Norton village, I was told to put my story here. Luckily I don't have one and hopefully by getting a defib for the village I will prevent other people from having a sad story th share as well.

The only definitive treatment for a victim of Cardiac Arrest is effective CPR and early defibrillation, which must be administered within 3-5 minutes following collapse, this boost survival chances from 6% to 74%.

I am sure you can agree that a defib for public access in Norton would be a benefit. So please give a little or a lot and you may help save someone's life.

I am aiming to raise £2000 to pay for the defibrillator, a coded waterproof box for all to access in an emergency and also a little bit for ongoing maintenance.
