I've raised £5000 to build flood resistant schools in Sindh, Pakistan

Due to the effects of climate change the landscape of Pakistan is becoming increasingly more vulnerable to environmental disasters. As we have seen though the devastating floods last year that left millions of people displaced from their homes while crops and lively hoods were completely distorted. The country more recently has also been effected by strong earthquake activity and through out its poorest regions economic instability is highlighting the considerable amount of people living way below the poverty line.
With your help we aim to build a school in the Pono village of Sindh, one of the the most effected areas. The project will become a life line for the community in the event of another disaster, with the long term goal that puts education at the heart of the community.
To reach this goal we have assembled a team of volunteers and have arranged to work with the Heritage foundation of Pakistan founded by Yasmeen Lari, who is currently working on a One million home initiative.
The project is independently funded by ourselves and we need your kind donations to support us with building materials and supplies. Please give whatever you can as it will go a long way in helping the future generations of Pakistan 🇵🇰
