I'm raising £100000 to put towards treatment and the Wood family

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
We reach out to you today with hopeful spirits, as we rally behind Woody in his courageous battle against not one, but two brain tumours. Woody's journey has been one of immense strength and unwavering determination, but he cannot face this challenge alone.
Oli is not just a fighter; he's a devoted husband to Faye and a loving father to his two children, Jax and Cole who currently unaware of the situation so please be mindful of this as Oli and Faye would like to protect their feelings as much as possible 🤍

A message from the family -
Thank you all so much for the overwhelming love and support you've shown to our family. We are truly grateful.
To share a bit of Woody's journey… In 2019, he was diagnosed with a grade 2 brain tumour after experiencing seizures. He endured a gruelling 11 ½ hour awake brain surgery, which successfully removed 80% of the tumour. However, we were always told it would eventually return, and in 2022, it did. Woody underwent another awake surgery in April 2022, which managed to remove some of the regrowth. He recovered well, but by September 2022, we received the devastating news of a new, inoperable tumour. Due to its location, even a biopsy wasn’t possible, leaving chemotherapy as his only option. During this first round of chemo, Woody and Faye welcomed their second child, Cole, into the world, making an already tough time even more overwhelming. Despite it all, Woody showed his incredible strength, powering through nine months of chemo. Although the tumour continued to grow slowly, his medical team decided it was stable enough to pause treatment for a while. Unfortunately, a few months later, Woody started experiencing more severe physical symptoms, and we learned that the tumour had progressed to grade 4. Chemo didn’t work this time, and after many private consultations, we convinced his team to try radiotherapy. His doctors were considering stopping all treatments, but Woody responded positively, and they agreed to try another chemotherapy. He has now completed five rounds, with just one remaining. Although Woody is under palliative care, he continues to defy the odds at every step. His determination to fight for his wife Faye and their children drives him to keep pushing forward. This is why we are once again asking for your support. We have pursued many private consultations to explore alternative treatments not available through the NHS. Part of the funds raised has gone towards genetic testing, which could open doors to new treatments or even a potential vaccine. We are also researching supplements and alternative therapies. The funds may also help the Wood family create lasting memories together.
Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for standing with us. x
The funds raised will be allocated towards potential treatment options that are not currently available on the NHS, should suitable options be found. Additionally, they will go towards supporting quality time spent together as a family, creating cherished memories that will provide strength and comfort during this challenging journey.
Your generosity can make a profound difference in Woody's life, enabling him to access the medical care and experimental treatments that offer hope for his future.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring his journey is filled with hope and the promise of brighter days to come.
