Our dear friend’s son, Oliver from Crewe who is the son of William and Stacey Peel is turning 7 years of age in June and was diagnosed with Leukaemia in March 2024. Oliver hadn't had any symptoms and wasn't particularly unwell, it was mothers’ instinct when Oliver's skin became discoloured that they took him to Leighton hospital and soon after he was transferred to Alder Hey hospital with a mass on his chest and the diagnosis of Leukaemia which as we can all imagine is devastating news for anyone to receive regarding their child.

To date Oliver has been quite poorly with the treatments, the leukaemia he has is ALL T Cell with a Philadelphia like mutation which means he receives additional chemotherapy to fight the mutation along with a 25-month aggressive treatment plan.

This page has been set up to raise funds to purchase items for Oliver to help him through his long stints in hospital, much of his time he is an inpatient especially when he is unwell. It would be great if we could come together to raise some funds to buy him a PS5 and anything left over would be used to buy ongoing items for Oliver to get him through the treatment over the next 2 years. As you can imagine at home Oliver will spend much of his time in bed due to the treatment, so a TV will be needed for his room along with a few other items.

We know so many people have wanted to help and support Oliver to get through this tough time and to help raise his spirits and energy, we thought this would be a great way to come together to achieve this, collectively, to buy him some treats and things that will make him more comfortable at home and his time spent in hospital.

The funds aren't being used to financially support the family, although I am certain if the situation arose, we would all jump to support Stacey & Liam.

The only other gift to buy would be something for Lilly as this journey is also tough on her being Oliver’s big sister.

Anything raised and spent from the fund will be transparent and posted on here so all can see what their donations have been spent on.
