Our Story

We are 30 students from Oncore Dance Academy (aged 5-14) who have successfully gained places to represent Team England at the Dance World Cup 24 - Prague
We are excited to be performing our Musical Theatre Group “Whistle Down the Wind”. We had amazing success at various festivals and competitions with this number last year & won 4 gold medals in local competitions and have qualified to take this to the Regional Finals later this year; to be able to take it to an international level is just amazing.
Our Modern Group is 'Lets Go Crazy' and we definitely live up to the name. We have some stand out costumes that really suit the dance. This group has so much personality that really comes out on stage. Again, we have worked really hard, performing it at festivals and competitions. We often have to compete in older age categories, but always held our own. Its a really entertaining number and when people watch it, they tell us how happy it makes them. We love being part of this dance as it's so much fun!
The lovely Holly, Scarlett and Robyn have qualified a beautiful ballet trio and Robyn is dancing a ballet solo. These are both prestigious categories and to do it at an international level is so special.
DWC is so special to us; we feel lucky to fly the flag for Northampton & England, its a dream come true for us.
As you can imagine there is a lot that goes into a trip like this and the costs associated with it. As such, we need funds to support this.

The Dance World Cup is considered the Olympics of dance with 8000+ of the best dancers around the world.
