Story

Oswestry Cat Rescue is coming up to celebrating their first year of rescuing cats and kittens. We‘re now looking to expand and want to purchase another pen. To mark this occasion one of our founders Liz is daring to wing- walk despite having a fear of flying!

So on October 7th at 13:30hrs in Cirencester Liz will crying as she‘s straped to a plane!

A little bit about us…

We are a non-profit charity rescue based in Oswestry, Shropshire, that aims to help rehabilitate and rehome feral, stray and abandoned cats and kittens.

Our small team consists of Liz and Keri, both of us having worked in cat rescue for nearly ten years with various charity organisations. Following the pandemic, rescue centres throughout the country were inundated with pets abandoned after being bought during lockdown.

With more and more cats and kittens coming into rescue centres and needing new homes, we devised our plan to open our own cat rescue centre in our home town. Finally, on December 8th, 2022, Oswestry Cat Rescue was launched!
