Updating on behalf of Emma at the moment. We do have some fantastic news in that she has confirmation ALL of her treatment is going to be fully paid. I will be closing down this appeal, not that funds are no longer needed, but they're not needed in the large sums that we initially thought.

All of the treatments will come with associated expenses, including travel, subsistence, accommodation - including for whoever goes with Em to give moral and physical support. Also she wants to explore alternative and complimentary therapies to support her treatment and give the best possible chance of longer term survival. This was actually what the original fundraising appeal was set up for and we stepped it up when we found there was a need for large sums.

There will naturally be donors who have very kindly donated to fund a specific aspect of Emma's treatment. If you have done so and are happy that we can use your generous donation to support the treatment in another way, then please be assured it will be used only for costs related to Emma's ongoing treatment (we will keep records of course).

If anyone would like their donation back, had they given on the basis of the need for the specific drug, I will return this to them with my thanks and blessings for their kindness, but we don't want anyone misled.

We thank you ALL for your kindness, support, messages of hope and encouragement, you have restored much faith in human kindness and words of gratitude simply don't seem enough.
