    Story

Jacqueline is supporting Mark Everest to complete the Ultra Challenge London2Brighton walk on 27-28th May 2017 as Team L2BCousin, #BreatheL2B

Out of the Blue's mission is to raise awareness of depression and mental illness and the effects of suicide and bereavement.

Out Of The Blue is a fundraising body established in memory of Will Beckett who took his own life at Beachy Head in January 2013, at the age of 42. This tragedy came as an incredible shock for his family and friends – it came simply ‘Out Of The Blue’.

In the immediate aftermath of Will’s death, his family were supported, guided and inspired by three charities – Winston’s Wish, Dragonflies and The Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team. Out Of The Blue raises money to support these charities so they can help others like the Becketts. OotB have recently added CALM - The Campaign Against Living Miserably to their portfolio.

Please donate to help these small charities providing essential support in the most difficult of circumstances.

London to Brighton was hard - just because we were so many hours on our feet. But it was awesome of course. My cousin Mark was diagnosed with inoperable incurable lung cancer 10 months ago. He refused it. I was only to happy to accept his offer to partner him on this ultra-challenge; he would say "mad and crazy'. Many would say that of him to even contemplate this test of body and mind. 3 weeks ago he was declared officially in remission, and today he and I walked (jogged!) for 100 kilometers from London to Brighton. Breathe.
