As many of you will now know our club roof is in a terrible state and has partially collapsed in 2 of the changing rooms. Our boiler breaks down on a weekly basis and the club is in general in a terrible state. To add insult to our current situation the club has been broke into with the thieves trashing the club house and stealing spirits.

The repairs for the roof alone are coming back at a cost of £21,800 this is money the club simply does not have. I really do believe ovenden rlfc is a massive part of our community and it would be devastating for not only ovenden members but for rugby league in general to loose another club.

We decided to start this page after a number of suggestions from other clubs saying they would like to help and the rugby league family stick together and help where they can. I really hope this is the case.

Our aim is to get this club house back in order and start the recruitment process of our junior section getting this great club back to where it used to be.

Any donation however big or small would be massively appreciated
