Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised
I’m Curtis Thompson, a youth leader in community church based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
I am asking for your help to raise funds for an important cause this Christmas.
Christmas is a time when gift lists are made and we prepare to generously shop and give. In the "Christmas Story" we hear the story of Mary & Joseph and baby Jesus displaced from their home; living in a stable, in need of some of life's basic essentials.
Wellingborough is a growing town in Northamptonshire. Across the town, there are many individuals and families who remain in urgent and desperate need of support from local food-banks, children’s centres, care homes and support groups.
Eternity Youth Group want to help by donating gifts and basic essentials to those who are forecasting a gloomy Christmas.
Parcels Of Joy will range from books, toys, winter essentials (gloves, hats), personal care and home essentials.
We will donated to local organisations that work at the heart of our community such as:
* Daylight Centre Fellowship (foodbank and homeless support)
* Action for Children (Children Support)
* Safer, Stronger Neighbourhood Partnership (Community/Family Support)
* Kenroyal Nursing Home (Elderly Support)
CAN YOU HELP... by donating to our project?
Your small donations will help...
Large donations will go far....
Very large donations will be amazing......!!!
Once we hit our target of £1250 all extra funds will go to the Daylight Centre and Home Start Wellingborough.
Please also help by forwarding this link on Facebook, WhatApp and Twitter!
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
