Story

Parcels of Joy is a community focused project set up by Curtis Thompson, initially as part of a local church initiative and in partnership with local community police teams.

We donate parcels of toys, books and personal gifts to children and disadvantaged families across the Northamptonshire. Why? To bring Joy to every home at Christmas.

Since 2016, Parcels of Joy has been sending joy to homes across Northamptonshire. We have raised £000's and donated over 1500 gifts to schools, food banks, homeless shelters, women's refuges, nursing homes and community centres.

In 2021 and 2022 we donated to over 250 children and families alongside adults and users of foodbanks and homeless charities.

This year, the initiative is driven by Turner Lovell, a business based in London and Kettering. As part of their giving back initiative, they are raising more funds as well as kicking off the donations with £500.

Please join us to hit our target and help us support local schools, food banks in Kettering & Wellingborough alongside children's and homeless charities working across these Northamptonshire.

If you cannot financially donate, why not support us by donating books, toys, winter/personal care essentials to us or your local foodbank.

Please share this link with someone you know who could also donate!

Thank you for your support.
